It's time for another Roundup! This week: accent chairs.
We recently purchased a new accent chair for our living room to replace the $30 chair I got from Craigslist 8 years ago. It was time for it to go. It had seen 2 apartments, and 2 houses and just didn't fit our style any more. We searched high and low for a chair that would be comfortable, stylish and functional. I'm proud to say we achieved our goal, even if shipping was delayed 3 weeks longer than we were expecting. You all know how this goes if you've purchased any piece of furniture in the last year...
Anyway, the chair we ended up going with was the Cozy Swivel Chair from West Elm in Frost Grey. Total cost: $899. Don't worry, I DO NOT consider this affordable. Keep reading for the deals. Anyway, this chair is definitely amazing. It's incredibly comfortable, swivels so it can be turned to face the TV, and wide enough to snuggle with a pillow and blanket.
It did cost a pretty penny, and the good news is that I didn't purchase it myself, my husband did. WIN! I couldn't ever get myself to spend that amount on a chair and I know a lot of our readers feel the same. So this week, we're doing a round up of our favorite neutral, and affordable accent chairs, ALL under $400.
Accent chairs are great because they don't ALWAYS need to be built for comfort. More often than not, they are there just for eye candy. We all know the couch comfort level is way more important. And because of that, sometimes we can sacrifice comfort for style.
All of these chairs we've selected are neutral and can be incorporated into your living space no matter what pieces of furniture you always have. You've probably heard it before, but going neutral with your larger pieces of furniture is always a good move. It allows you to simply swap the other decor in the room like pillows, blankets or other accents often without spending a fortune.

I hope you found something that you like and that fits within your budget! If I can find some extra time, I might add a $500 or less section to this for those of you looking to spend a little extra dough.
